2 and 3-Dimensional Shapes Using Cardboard Sheets, Tapes, Scissors, and Rulers
Introduction: 2-Dimensional shapes are flat and only have length and width, such as squares, rectangles, and circles. 3-Dimensional shapes have length, width, and height, such as cubes, cuboids, and cylinders.
Example:
- A cube has 6 square faces, all equal in size.
- A cuboid has 6 rectangular faces, with opposite faces being equal in size.
- A cylinder has two circular faces and one curved surface.
Class Fun (Class Work):
- Create a cube using a cardboard sheet and tape. Ensure all sides are equal.
